Attorney Michael J. Byrne Joins LashGoldberg as Associate
MIAMI, FL. (September 21, 2026) – LashGoldberg is pleased to announce that attorney Michael J. Byrne has joined the firm as an associate in its Miami office. He focuses his practice on complex business disputes and health care litigation.
Prior to joining LashGoldberg, Byrne served as a Staff Attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He also previously practiced as a trial and appellate lawyer, representing health care providers in business disputes and litigation matters.
Byrne earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he was a full-scholarship recipient, a member of the Wisconsin Moot Court Board, and published in the Wisconsin International Law Journal. He was named “Best Oralist” at the 2021 Heffernan Moot Court Competition and received “Best Brief” at the 2023 UNLV Gaming Law Competition. During law school, he completed a judicial internship for Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley and served as a legal intern for the World Bank.
Byrne received his undergraduate degree with honors in Political Science and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a project manager at Epic Systems, where he implemented inpatient, infection control, and radiology software suites for health care providers. He is admitted to practice in Florida and Wisconsin.
