James Diamond is a partner in LashGoldberg’s Miami office. He is a zealous advocate and seasoned litigator who focuses on sophisticated, high-stakes commercial disputes. He serves as a trusted advisor to his clients who rely on him for strategic guidance in their most significant matters.
Prior to joining the firm, James was a member of the Litigation Practice at the international law firm Greenberg Traurig.
James concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration. He has represented a broad range of clients—including multinational corporations, leading health systems, private equity firms, real estate developers, financial institutions, and high-net-worth individuals—in matters involving contracts, business torts, real estate disputes, employment issues, defamation, trademark infringement, trusts and estates, and post-judgment enforcement and recovery. He is known for his meticulous approach to litigation and for developing a deep, practical understanding of his clients’ businesses and challenges.
James received his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as a Staff Editor of the University of Miami Business Law Review. He earned his B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science from Tulane University.
