Michael J. Byrne is an associate in LashGoldberg’s Miami office. Michael’s practice focuses on complex business disputes and health care litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as a Staff Attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He also practiced as a trial and appellate lawyer representing health care providers in business disputes and litigation matters.
Michael earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School cum laude, where he was a full-scholarship recipient and was published in the Wisconsin International Law Journal. Michael was a member of the Wisconsin Moot Court Board - earning “Best Oralist” at the 2021 Heffernan Moot Court Competition. During law school, he completed a judicial internship for Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley and served as a legal intern for the World Bank. Michael received his undergraduate degree with honors in Political Science and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to attending law school, Michael worked as a project manager at software designer Epic Systems, where he implemented inpatient, infection control, and radiology software suites for health care providers.
