Daily Business Review featured Lash & Goldberg LLP partner Erica Rutner in an article recognizing her as a young lawyer ‘On The Rise.’ In the Q&A, Ms. Rutner explains what drew her to a career in law, the goals she wants to achieve in the coming year and her proudest career moment and biggest hurdle. For example, her proudest career moment was a hard-fought summary judgment win for a client who had been facing bet-the-company litigation and who had entrusted her to lead their defense while she was in the midst of transitioning to a new firm. At the same time, her biggest hurdle was making the decision to transition to a new firm.
“I had amazing colleagues at Weil and a comfortable practice, but I knew that I could do so much more with my career at a Florida-based firm,” she said. “It was a very difficult choice to eventually leave Weil, but it was absolutely the right decision for me and for my continued development as a class action practitioner.”
